Tickets and reservations

Can I exchange my ticket for another day?

No Unfortunately. It is not possible to exchange a ticket for another day. When ordering your tickets, check that you have entered everything correctly and selected the correct date.

Can I book tickets by phone, at the box office or by e-mail?

Tickets can only be reserved through our website. Unfortunately it is not possible to reserve tickets by phone or e-mail. The cash registers at the entrance of the park are closed to avoid crowds. Order your tickets easily and quickly on our website. Preferably you print the tickets at home. If this is not possible, make sure that the tickets are clearly visible on your smartphone before you come to the park.

I have a coupon? Can I still use it?

At this time, all visitors must purchase their entrance ticket online by date. To keep control over the number of visitors, it is only possible to buy tickets through our website. Unfortunately, it is therefore not possible to use a discount coupon.

Can I spontaneously come to the park and buy a ticket at the box office?

No. All visitors to Deltapark Neeltje Jans must purchase their entrance ticket by date online in advance. This is not possible at the cash desk. The cash registers are closed.

Do I need to print my tickets?

If you have the opportunity to print your tickets, this is our preference. This is to avoid crowding during the check at the entance. If this is not possible, make sure that the tickets are clearly visible on your smartphone before you come to the park so that we can scan them quickly and safely.


What measures have Deltapark Neeltje Jans taken?

We have taken measures both before and behind the scenes to ensure that your visit runs safely and responsibly. All of these measures contribute to one of the following:

  • We provide 1.5 meters between households. Think of extra space in our cinemas, grandstands and walkways.
  • We provide sufficient and clear information.
  • We provide extra hygiene measures.
Is a mouth mask mandatory?

No, a mouth mask is not required during your visit to Deltapark Neeltje Jans. We strongly recommend the 1.5 meters distance between households.

Can I disinfect my hands somewhere?

Yes, that’s possible. At the entrance of the park, the restaurant “Deltaplaza”, at all toilet blocks, and at several central locations in the park, disinfectants are available to clean your hands.

Is there extra cleaning?

Certainly! Toilets are cleaned with great regularity and employees are constantly working to clean and / or disinfect hand contact points at the park.

Can I pay with cash?

No, unfortunately that is not possible. You can only pay contactless by card or mobile phone.

What do we expect from you?

Please observe the general basic rules of RIVM as much as possible. Wash your hands, cough and sneeze regularly on the inside of your elbow, keeping enough distance from others.

If you have (mild) colds such as sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, light cough, and fever, you should stay at home. If someone in your family has a fever, everyone in the family must stay at home.

RIVM says that children up to the age of 12 do not have to keep a distance of 1.5 meters. All other hygiene measures do apply to children.

Questions about the park

Can I buy a ticket only to visit the storm surge barrier or the aquarium?

No that is not possible. You buy a ticket for the entire park. A visit to the storm surge barrier or the aquarium building is only possible if you have a valid entrance ticket.

Do I have to make a reservation for the boat trip on the Oosterschelde?

It is not possible to reserve in advance for the cruise. Our boat has enough capacity. No refund if a boat trip is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or technical problem.

Can I bring a pet into the park?

Due to the safety of your own pet and the animals in the park, it is not allowed to bring them into the park. We also do not have a shelter. Guide dogs can be admitted in consultation. Please contact us via [email protected]

Is the park wheelchair accessible?

Most of the park is easily accessible with a wheelchair. However, there are a few locations where you cannot come with a wheelchair. Part of the storm surge barrier is not accessible as there is a staircase here and no lift. During the construction of the storm surge barrier, potential visitors to this section were not taken into the plans. The first part of the storm surge barrier you can just visit here is an access for wheelchair users.

Furthermore, it is not possible to visit the whale exhibition in a wheelchair as this building consists of uneven floor parts and a floor without a lift. All other locations and places of interest such as the sea lion show, aquarium building and boat tour are easy to visit with a wheelchair. A point of attention is still the passage of the door on the tour boat. The doorway is 78 cm wide.

Can I rent a locker?

Lockers are available to rent at the park. You can activate the lockers and pay by card only. The costs for renting a safe are € 3 per day. You can find the lockers at the entrance to the main building “Deltaplaza”.
